The Smart Approved WaterMark (SAWM) continues to be the trusted mark of excellence which identifies water efficient products and services for over 18 years.
SAWM was set up in 2004, as a directive from the National Water Initiative, designed specifically to recognise water saving products that qualify for water utility offered rebates. It is also the criteria by which products gain Waterwise endorsement in WA. Recently, SAWM has been included as a mandatory requirement for pool covers in Sydney Water's Pool Cover Rebate, which is open until the end of October 2022.
Benefits of using the Smart Approved WaterMark (SAWM)
SAWM has an Independent Expert Panel providing credibility and expertise and has approved products in over a dozen categories including pool, plumbing, irrigation, leaks and more. Our independent assessment of products means water suppliers, can be reassured the products included in your rebate scheme are in fact water efficient, sustainable and fit for purpose. If you are running an irrigation or pool cover rebate scheme, use the SAWM as the mandatory requirement for the products in your programs to ensure only quality water saving/efficient and sustainable products are included.
